Sometimes we find ourselves with an excess of
items lying around our house. And a lot of those times, we end up tossing them
because we just cannot find a single use for them anymore. Typically, these
items include grocery sacks, extra pieces of paper, and cardboard boxes.
They’re the “expendable” items that we accumulate over time without actually
knowing how they increase in quantity.
When it comes to those extra shipping boxes,
though, there are a decent amount of things you can use them for if you really
put your mind to the test. Luckily, we’ve compiled a few ideas for your to use
them on rather than trashing them without a second thought.
Transporting
food to family events.
A lot of times when we’re going to a family
get together, food is left in dishes haphazardly around your vehicle. Sometimes
this causes unwanted spills or even losing the dish entirely. But if you’ve got
a few boxes lying around, absolutely use them. Whether you’re breaking the box
down to use as a protecting layer for your vehicle or you simply are throwing a
few pots in a larger box, these can be used for any trip.
Moving
heavier items or furniture across hardwood floors.
Don’t risk scratching your expensive flooring
just because you couldn’t properly use a dolly, furniture blanket, or just some
cold hard elbow grease. When in a pinch, break down a few shipping boxes, lay
them on the floor, and put your heavier items on top of them to drag to their
appropriate spot. As they often say, work smarter, not harder. This is one of
those life hacks that not many people think about, but when you finally realize
how simple and useful it is, you never go back. (And it helps that it’s
essentially free of cost and everyone has
cardboard boxes lying around.)
Using
as dividers between pieces of more expensive furniture on the go.
Much in the same vein of using boxes as
sliders for heavy furniture, this item is to protect your property when in a
trailer and butting up against other dangerous or sharp materials. By having
just one or two layers of corrugated cardboard resting between heavy pieces of
furniture that are likely to rub and bash into one another, you can rest easy
knowing that nothing will come out of the trailer in any different shape than
it went into it.
Cardboard boxes are flexible corner and usually used in industries for packaging goods and material. These boxes are less expensive and easily available or affordable in the market. A box can be recycled and used again and again not only the consumer but also cost conscious companies. It can be adjusted to make it perfect fit for any product and these boxes can be available in the all size, shapes and color according to the product or consumer demand.
